What is it?

Cooperative Education is a structured way of learning that combines in-class learning with periods of actual work. This working experience is called a Co-op placement. While on placement, you have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and skills in your chosen field and earn academic credits that count toward your degree or diploma.

Who is it for?

Students who are heading for university, college, the workplace or an apprenticeship.

Cooperative education is a program that allows students to earn secondary school credits by getting on the job experience at a workplace. The cooperative education course consists of a classroom component (pre-placement and integration) and a placement component.
