Our students in grades 4 through 12 will be completing the 2026 OCSB Student Census at school this week. Answers are voluntary and confidential.
For children in grades kindergarten through 3, a link to the Census will be sent to all parents via email.
The information collected will help us:
Plan programs and services that support student success.
Understand language, cultural, and identity needs in our schools.
Improve resources for students with diverse backgrounds.
Guide equity and inclusion work.
Identify areas where additional support is needed; and
Create schools where every student feels safe, welcome, and included.

Kindergarten Open House
We are inviting all registered or interested new Kindergarten families to our Kindergarten Open House on Wed., March 3rd from 4:15-5:30 pm. This is to provide new families information about our Kindergarten program.
We've started a new lunch option for this upcoming week! It is too late to order for this week, but parents can order through School Cash Online before noon on Sunday for the week ahead. Tuesdays (Subway) and Thursdays (Pita Pit).
This Lenten season, our school community is coming together to support the Catholic Education Foundation of Ottawa (CEFO). This wonderful charity works directly to counter the effects of poverty on students within the OCSB, providing funding for educational programs, recreational activities, and emergency response for families in need.
We are encouraging our students to "earn and return" by helping out around the house or showing extra kindness at home to earn a toonie for their donation!
We are hosting "Toonies on Tuesdays" throughout Lent. Students can bring in physical toonies on the following dates:
March 3rd
March 10th
March 24th
Prefer to go digital? You can also make your donations quickly and easily through School Cash Online.
To keep the momentum going, we’ve set some exciting milestones for the students to reach:
The $500 Milestone: If we reach $500 by March 13th, the whole school will celebrate with a PJ Day!
The $1,000 Goal: If we reach our ultimate goal of $1,000, students will have the chance to win games for their classrooms!
Thank you for your continued generosity and for helping our students learn the value of giving back to their peers.

All you have to do is go to mabelslabels.ca, search for and select "Chapel Hill Catholic School (Orleans)" from the list of schools under the "Support a Fundraiser'' tab and the school will receive a donation from that purchase.
