The #MacCreates contest is finally open for grade 7 and 8 students at Immaculata! Submit your original creations each month to enter your class a chance to win a free period. Here’s how it works:
Step 1: You create something original.

- It can be any art form and any medium.
- Some examples: a song you wrote on the piano, a pencil sketch of a character you invented, a video of a dance you choreographed, a trailer for a movie that you wrote and filmed, a painting of your dog
- It is NOT other people’s creations you are reproducing (ex. you playing the guitar solo from Bohemian Rhapsody, you singing Taylor Swift’s latest hit, your painting of Van Gogh’s Starry Night, that dance you saw on TikTok) Please note: these things are great to do and one of the best ways to learn your craft, but this contest is about original creations.
Step 2: Submit your completed creation

- DM or e-mail Mr. Busa a photo or video of your creation, your name(s), and a quick description
- You may submit multiple times per month
Step 3: Your creation gets approved and posted

- An approved submission will be posted on Mr. Busa’s feeds and earn your class one entry into a draw for a free period.
- If more than one student was involved in the creation process, they will each earn their class an entry into the draw.
- It must be tasteful and appropriate to be approved. If I have to question at all whether I should post it, I won’t. Use your common sense here.
