Each school in OCS is supported by a Technology Support Technician (TST) that supports the network infrastructure and hardware within the building. The TST is assigned helpdesk tickets for issues such as Printing, Logins, Site Access, Imaging, Hardware Issues, and Inventory control.
All helpdesk tickets are filtered through the TST in each building.
Each school in OCS is also supported by an Instructional Technology Specialist (ITS). There are six Instructional Technology Specialists (ITS) that support multiple schools and instruction in each. ITS support helpdesk tickets related to Instructional Applications and Support Issues. This includes how to use software, iPads Apps and management, G Suite applications, and instructional pedagogy that incorporates best practices with technology.
