The implementation of MTSS takes time. Project AWARE staff guide school sites through implementation using a four-stage model:
Under the guidance of the Project AWARE Leadership team, school sites are assigned an MTSS Site Coach from OCIC. Each MTSS Site Coach works closely with a school-based site facilitator to assist in the development and implementation of a site-specific OTISS framework at their school.
Site coaches meet with a variety of school-based teams on a regular basis to review academic and behavioral data.
