Google Docs

What is Google Docs?

Google Docs is like Microsoft Word. It allows students to write anything like paragraphs, reports, stories, essays, fill in the blank, answering math questions etc. It is often meant for writing projects or math projects as it operates as a word processor.

My child has work on Google Classroom that requires Google Slides. How do they access it?

Computer - They can go to their Google Classroom and when they click on the doc that is assigned to them it will open for them. If it is not assigned but asked to be submitted separately they can open one at www.docs.google.com then submit it on Google Classroom by attaching it when they click Turn it in.

Tablet, Phone or iPad - You will have to go the Google Play store and download the Google Docs app. Once downloaded any work assigned on Google Classroom that is for Google Docs will automatically open the app.
