National History Bee
The National History Bee is an exciting social studies competition for students who love learning, competing, and having fun! Participating students progress from the school level to the regional level and finally to the National Finals where one student is crowned the National History Bee Champion! What makes the National History Bee unique? Unlike other activities, participants in the National History Bee compete head-to-head to be the first to “buzz-in” with the correct answer. What results is a competition that tests a student’s knowledge in a fun and exciting way!
How will we be participating in PROJECT EXTRA?
PROJECT EXTRA students will take the computerized Intramural Bee in class during the first week of January. The top students on the Intramural Bee will receive trophies and will take the Online Regional Qualifying Exam mid-January (after school hours – date TBA). Once scores are processed, the National History Bee will notify us if any of the students will be moving on to the Tri-State Regional Competition. Last year the Tri-State Regional Competition was held in Yonkers, New Jersey. Any winners at the level, will be invited to Nationals.
