Résumés to be submitted for official review are done with a more professional looking format than the time saving ones in Naviance. Your first résumé should fit on one page and fill the 4 quadrants of the page. Note the indentation and columns used to line up common headings and content in the samples below. Also note the clear font styles, sizing, use of bold font, and bullets used to designate similar heading and content areas. Below the samples, there are links to tips on writing a HS résumé and a cover letter. Cover Letters are often required along with a résumé when applying for employment. Your formal writing skills are critical!
