settings
Important, remember to press "Update config" to apply the different values.
General Settings
Window size: determine the number of samples to filter one. Units is in seconds and this is a value between 180 and rolling window.
Rolling window: size of the filter window to apply the averaging of the wind.
Time Zone: UTC difference were you are. beaware there is no automatic change, you must apply this value on each location that you go.
Wind speed units: units for the wind speed. This is applied in TWS and AWS.
Boat speed units: units for the boat speed in SOG.
Current settings
Current speed: units for the current speed. Default value is m_s (meters per second).
I you select boat length will bne
Direction: the direction will be applied as for the wind if you set "FROM" direction or the direction were the current move as for the international standar with "TO"
The Boat length option will appear automátically when it applies. If a value is not set will be 1 meter. This will be the same as meter per minutes.
Wind Calibration settings
Here you can work with the Wind Settings, if you see the TWS over estimated you can set up a % of reduction here.
To fix problems with TWD you can se set up a correction for different angles and wind intensities. Check the examples down to correct the error.
Example 1
The wind direction is decreasing on port and increasing on startboard
Example 2
Here you can work with the Wind Settings, if you see the TWS over estimated you can set up a % of reduction here.
Compass calibration
Every time you install the unit in a new region is recomended to calibrate the compas.
Once you hit "Start Calibration" you will see the "in progress" and a count down of 2 minutes will start.
The turn will be around 390º you will see a "succed". The calibration will be applied automatically
use COG or Heading
If the local magnetic inclination (dip) is severe, this can produce errors in the compass heading when the vessel is not level. Since the compass heading is used in the calculations for true wind, this can also result in errors in the reported true wind speed and direction. (Apparent wind is not affected.)
The WeatherStation can be instructed to use Course Over Ground (COG) provided by the internal GPS in place of the internal compass heading in the calculations for true wind. If this feature is enabled, then the COG will be used instead of internal compass heading for calculation of true wind only if the GPS has achieved a fix, and if the Speed Over Ground (SOG) is greater than 3 knots. If there is no GPS fix, or if the SOG is 3 knots or less, then the internal compassheading will be used.
Do be aware when using this feature that Heading and COG are not the same. Heading refers to the direction the bow of the vessel is pointing. COG refers to the direction the vessel is traveling. While in an automobile these values are likely to be nearly identical, in a boat they can differ because of the effects of wind and current on the vessel. The rationale for using COG instead of heading in the calculations for true wind is that the difference between COG and actual heading might be less than the error in the reported compass heading due to dip.

Update Code
You need to get the unit connected to internet for this option to be active.
Here you will two states:
Update available.
Reinstall version.
You will see a debug console with messages with the update process. Don't refresh the browser until this is done.
