Exploring Technologies
Grade 9 - TIJ1O
This course is devided into two sections, "Hard Tech" and "Soft Tech".
Each section is taught in a different classroom that specializes each area.

The "Hard Tech" portion of this course focuses on hands on activities. Students first go through important safety training and are then introduced to the Design Concept. Through the creation of various projects, students learn to become problem solvers. Learning to prevent and/or to solve problem is a life long skill students will need to succeed in their future career(s).
TIJ1O - "SOFT Tech" - 1/2 Semester
Animation - Graphics - Website Design - Photography. This course runs for HALF the semester complementing the "Hard Tech" component. With extensive use of the computers, this course focuses on exploring digital media in the form of graphics, audio and animation.
Students will learn to develop media projects using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Flash, Audacity and publish their work in Website format.
