Architectural Technology

Welcome to John McCrae Architectural class. Together we'll be learning about the worlds evolution through architecture.

Our journey will take us to the four corners of our planet. We'll learn that both the environment and the social times have greatly influence architecture. With today's ability to travel all over in a matter of hours and our ease for accessing information from a simple computer in just plain seconds, Architecture has evolved exponentially. Add to that the fact that new materials are now available for construction and that computer software can now greatly reduce time for designing, architecture is now something fun and challenging that everyone has access to.

Over the next 4 months, we'll be covering some of the basics of architecture. From Computer Software's used for Design, to do's and don't when designing a house. From building Models adapted to various landscapes, to going all out and design mansions. We'll even compare our knowledge to that of profesional architects by visiting and analysing actual model homes. We'll learn and talk much about the architectual design and the interior design of their houses.

You'll see how much fun we can have by using our creativity into designing a place of comfort for generations to come.
