Mary-Elizabeth Fenn received a BFA in dance from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an MFA in contemporary dance from Case Western Reserve University. From 2011-2018, she was a lead dancer and resident choreographer for Neos Dance Theatre (performing works by Alice Flock, Penny Saunders, Alejandro Cerrudo, Stephanie Martinez, Joseph Morrissey, Robert Wesner and Heinz Poll). As a freelance artist/choreographer, she has performed with Kanye West, Heraldo Negro, and Spinal Tap. In New York City, she performed with Anabella Lenzu/DanceDrama, Amalgamate Dance Company, Yoo & Dancers, Caitlin Dutton, and London artist Eddie Peake in Performa 13. She also created a performance group, Fenn & Company, which premiered works at Triskelion Arts Split Bill Series, Comedy in Dance Festival, Triskelion Presents, and Dixon Place NYC10. She has taught Modern Technique, Viewing Dance, and choreographed for Fall Showcase at the University of Akron. Fenn was also a part–time lecturer at Case Western Reserve University teaching ballet and modern technique. When not teaching, she is outside somewhere with her three year old son or hanging out at home with her husband and two dogs. Bobby Wesner is currently a solo artist, choreographer, dance instructor, producer, and mentor. From 2004–2020, he served as the executive/artistic director of Neos Dance Theatre, where he curated works by internationally recognized choreographers such as Alejandro Cerrudo, Stephanie Martinez, and Penny Saunders, alongside emerging artists like Alice Klock and Joseph Morrissey. Bobby created numerous works for the company, including Searching for the Find, Illustrious Disillusion, necessary.negatives, and Spinning Plates. He also produced full evening works such as Carmina Burana with the Canton Symphony Orchestra, Petrushka with the Akron Symphony, Snow White and Magic Mirror: A Grimm Tale with The University of Akron, and Count: the Legend of Dracula, which toured Ohio and beyond. In addition to his work with Neos, Wesner choreographed for Ballet Arizona, Ohio Contemporary Ballet, North Point Ballet, Dancing Wheels, and various colleges across Ohio. Bobby was a guest professor and choreographer at Oberlin College for over seven years and served as adjunct faculty at The University of Akron. Such work received recognition, awards, and reviews from the Cleveland Plain Dealer, The Atlantic, and many local and online sources. Before graduate school, he was the Resident Choreographer and Senior Ballet Instructor at Belhaven University. Recently Wesner earned an MFA in Dance from Hollins University, where he researched digital duplication, utopia, and Queer identity. His work continues to explore new ways of connecting with diverse communities, including Queer, Crip, Black, Brown, Indigenous, and Feminist groups through technology, dance, and theatrical arts. Bobby has performed works by Paul Taylor, José Limón, George Balanchine, Martha Graham, and many others, spending 30 years with companies like Ballet Arizona, Momix, Verb Ballets, and Neos Dance Theatre. He now splits his time between Jackson, Mississippi and Ashland, Ohio.
