Throwing and Catching Activities


  1. Throw a ball/beanbag underhand into the air and catch it.

  2. Throw a ball/beanbag up and clap your hands as many times as you can before you catch it.

  3. Throw a ball against the wall and catch it.

  4. Throw a beanbag at a target, aiming to have it land on or in a target. Ex: hoola hoop, circle drawn with chalk

  5. Throw and catch a ball/beanbag with a partner,

  6. count how many you can do in a row.

**If you don't have a ball or a beanbag, use a pair of socks and ball them up to use for throwing.

R- Run in place as fast as you can for 1 minute

O- One leg squats 10 on each leg

Y- Y stretch for 1 minute

G- Giant steps for 1 minute

B- Balance on 1 leg as long as you can

I- I get to pick my exercise for 1 minute

V- V stretch for 1 minute
