In January, Year 3 Woodpecker class had the exciting opportunity to attend a performance of the Hansel and Gretel Opera at the Royal Ballet Opera in Covent Garden.

They spent time before the trip learning about opera and the story of Hansel and Gretel.

The children loved watching the show and were excited to see an orchestra playing all the instruments live. They even had an ice-cream in the interval and joined in with one of the songs
