Recorder festival

Each year we join together with other schools in Leigh Academy Trust to celebrate and play the recorder.

In the weeks before the festival, each school learns the same pieces. On the day, we practise together and then video our final performance.

Last year our Recorder Festival took place on 19th March.

We were delighted to welcome Leigh Academy Molehill, Leigh Academy Bearsted, Leigh Academy Langley Park and Marden Primary Academy. 

Our next Recorder Festival is taking place on Tuesday 17th March 2026.
