Security Council

The OUMUN Secretariat has established the following topics for consideration by the Security Council: 

• Refugees and climate change

• Addressing the hazards of potential impacts from celestial bodies

The Security Council is the only committee at OUMUN that permits double delegates. Teams with seats on the Council are encouraged to appoint two delegates to represent their country. 

The following countries are represented on the 2026 OUMUN Security Council. Those designated "P-5" wield veto authority in committee:
