The Clinical Field Placement Team (CFPT) serves as the liaison between the Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders (CSD) the graduate student, and the field placement supervisor. The Clinical Field Placement Team consists of speech-language pathologists, health care professionals, and administrators who are available to assist you with any questions or concerns regarding the field placement experience.
It is advised that student concerns be addressed immediately to ensure a positive field placement experience for both student and supervisor. Early remediation opportunities increase student chances for success in field placement.

The NYU Clinical Field Placement Team (CFPT) maintains an open line of communication to support our supervisors throughout the semester. The Communication Timeline & Action Items provide a general schedule of the CFPT correspondence and detail your action items required throughout the semester including midterm and final evaluations on CALIPSO.
