I am a physical therapist, researcher and educator. I leverage my skills as an exercise specialist and movement scientist to advance knowledge and practice related to musculoskeletal physical therapy and rehabilitation.

I currently serve as Professor and Chair at the Department of Physical Therapy at NYU Steinhardt. I was the Inaugural Robert S. Salant Endowed Associate Professor of Physical Therapy. I hold affiliated appointments at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at NYU Grossman, at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at NYU Tandon, and at the Center for Advancement and Dissemination of Intervention Optimization at NYU Global Public Health.
