AT NYU STEINHARDT
Suzy Jane Hunt (She/Her/Hers) is a performer, educator, writer, and researcher. She is an adjunct at NYU Steinhardt’s Educational Theatre Department as well as an acting instructor at AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy). She is an active ensemble member in the Verbatim Performance Lab, where she played Brett Kavanaugh in The Kavanaugh Files. Favorite acting credits include: TV/Film-The Americans (Pastor Tim’s wife Alice), Person of Interest, The Good Wife, Blacklist, Blindspot, Elementary, Collateral Beauty. Broadway-Dear Evan Hansen, Dead Accounts. Her documentary theatre piece When You Ask Her was workshopped in February 2020 at All For One Theatre and will be produced by Steinhardt’s Ed Theatre Department this fall.
Ilana Becker (She/Her/Hers) is a producer and director specializing in new work development, investigative material, and community-driven projects. Ilana most recently served as Lincoln Center’s Producer of #RestartStages Silent Discos and Pop-ups, The Civilians’ R&D Group Program Director and Artistic Associate, and Gingold Theatrical Group’s Associate Director; she served on the staffs of All For One Theater, Lincoln Center Education, and Bret Adams Ltd; and she spent a year as Associate Artistic Director and then Interim Artistic Director of Idaho's Company of Fools/Sun Valley Center for the Arts. Alyssa Williams is a current NYU graduate student studying Educational Theatre and Social Studies Education. For undergrad, she attended Long Island University in 2020 as a triple major in Stage Management, Set Design, and Arts Management. She would like to thank Suzy and Ilana for welcoming her into the process of creating this amazing, important show.
Lianne Davidoff (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist double majoring in Educational Theatre and Philosophy at NYU. Her recent work includes monologue feature in Uproar's Monologue Festival, Covid Portrait in the Verbatim Performance Lab, and Laertes in Shakespeare To Go's production of Hamlet. Lianne has a strong passion for igniting conversation around sex through theatre and has had a privilege getting to do just this on the production of If You Ask Her.
Lindsay Bednar-Carter is a director, videographer, and project manager for production collective Adventure We Can (AWC) and has been involved in a wide range of projects with the company including video production for New York Theatre Workshop, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, Colt Coeur, JACK, The Civilians, USO, Empowered Voices, Ethena, and Limitless Health Institute. They are also an associate producer for AWC's new hybrid-documentary and project, Keurida. Lindsay's theatrical directing credits include Luna and La Boite Rouge (Cirque Du Soleil), ROUGE (Lincoln Center), RELENT and Twelfth Night (The Old American Can Factory). They are an associate member of the SDC, an artist in residence at The Old American Can Factory (2018-19), and an SDCF Observer 2019-2021. As a performer (AEA), Lindsay has an extensive background in the world of theater and dance, training with American Ballet Theater and UNC School of the Arts. They are currently in collaboration with Martha Clarke and Nilo Cruz for a production at the Signature Theatre starring opposite Bill Camp and most recently performed at the Westbeth as Diane Arbus in Ellis Stump's new play Where I've Never Gone: Diane in Ten Frames. As an educator Lindsay has taught movement and theatre at Northwestern University (Cherubs) and UNC School of the Arts. They are a BFA graduate of the Schools of Drama and Dance at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
Crystal Arnette is the co-founder of non-profit arts initiative SEQUIN & the founder/CEO of the production collective Adventure We Can. She has created & directed over 600 video projects for Warner Music Group, Macy’s, Unilever, Reuters, Geometry Global, HSBC, Aldo, Oath:, Clover Health, Pretty Big Deal with Ashley Graham, The Broadway League, The USO, New York Theatre Workshop, Ars Nova, Atlantic Theater Co., Playwrights Horizons, Dramatists Guild Foundation, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Co., Ensemble Studio Theatre, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, The Flea, The New Group + many more. She recently was awarded Best Indie Director for her work on The Hunted: Encore S2 which won over 50 international awards and over 75 festival selections, and her short film Committed (co-directed with Rachel Alana Handler) was awarded the AT&T Film Award and Slamdance 2021 official selection. She is currently in post-production on The Hunted: NYCSS, the short film November Ninth, and in development on the hybrid-documentary 그리다 (Keurida) and narrative features DIVERS and Maureen. Along with The Bats, she co-created #serials@theflea in 2010 and served as co-creative producer from 2014-16. She has also performed with The Bushwick Starr, Atlantic Theater, Woolly Mammoth, W.H.A.T, The P.I.T., and Webster Hall. She has worked on campaigns & films with Olson, Droga5, Radical Media, Sony/RCA Records, M ss ng P eces, Supply & Demand, Carousel-NYC, Film Orange & Mass Appeal. She is a BFA graduate of the School of Drama at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
Neville Braithwaite (he/him) is an NYC based award winning videographer. Credits include NYU, The Public Theatre, Black Theatre United, Broadway Black, and Darkness Rising.
