‘Global Village 2022: Home Away From Home’ was held on Friday March 25th, 2022 and celebrated the many incredible cultures representative of SPS. Global Village is a fun, social event where our students showcase their cultures through performances, giveaways, music, and more.
During the event, we garnered donations for No Kid Hungry. Donors received a digital copy of the 2022 Global Village Cookbook and prize tickets to enter a variety of prize drawings. This event was open to the entire NYU community.
Cultures represented were Chile, China, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Germany, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Pakistan, Puerto Rico, and Taiwan.
This event is sponsored by the SPS Graduate and Undergraduate Student Councils and the SPS Office of Student Life.

The SPS Student Council had partnered with No Kid Hungry to give back and help communities affected by the COVID-19 crisis. No Kid Hungry works to end childhood hunger in America by ensuring that all children get the healthy food they need every day to thrive.
This donation drive initiative's goal was $1,000. Thanks to our donors, we garnered $2,180 and rising. Each dollar donated secures 10 meals. Donors who gave $5+ Received a digital copy of the Official 2022 Global Village Cookbook containing recipes from cultures around the world. Donate Today.
