Location: We expect our Summer 2026 cohort to be hybrid:
In-person sessions at NYU from June 1st to July 27th
Online sessions from July 28th to August 8th
Dec 15th, 2025: Summer application opens
Feb 15th, 2026 (11:59 pm EST): applications are due
March 2026: Zoom interviews for select participants
Early April 2026: Applicants will be notified of admittance, waitlist, or decline
Eligibility Criteria
Are rising college seniors or recent graduates (within two years of earning their undergraduate degree)
Have strong academic potential and at least one semester of research experience outside of a classroom setting
Major or minor in psychology or a closely related discipline (e.g., public health, education, social work)
Demonstrate a commitment to pursuing graduate studies in applied research within the social sciences
Dedicated to exploring research topics relevant to applied psychology, social justice, and community research.
International Applicants: Students studying in the U.S. on an F-1 visa are eligible to apply. Please note that tourist visas are not permitted.

Complete Short Answer Questions (There are several questions related to research experience, academic background, and career/professional goals)
Please note applications will be open until February 15th, 2026
1. Fill out the QUEST Application Creation Form. In this form, you will be asked to provide some basic information, such as name, date of birth, and email, in order to create your account in our application system.
2. After submitting the Application Creation Form, you will receive an email containing a temporary PIN and instructions for finalizing your account setup. Please follow these steps carefully.
3. To resume your application, log into the Application Management page and proceed through the application. Please pay close attention to the information on the Instructions page for guidelines regarding the submission of the application and any required supplemental documents.
4. After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email.
5. Within a few days after submitting your application, you will receive a second email containing your NYU credentials and instructions for accessing your applicant portal, where you can check the status of your application and any missing documents.
