13 October (synchronous class debate)

In class today we will be having an improvised debate in teams based on your answers to blog 2 about the Abu Dhabi Eats map.

Points to be debates include: mapping platform, representation of restaurants, etc.

Homework:

1. Submit two questions to the chat in advance of this week's expert chat with Lauren Tilton (University of Richmond). Complete this by 0600, 15 October.

This counts as Week 6 Quick Writing.

15 October (synchronous class in chat)

Today we will be having an synchronous class in chat with Professor Lauren Tilton. Since she is on the East Coast of the US, the discussion will begin in Chat at 1600/4pm Abu Dhabi time (duration: 75 mins). Please plan on dropping by for at least 20 minutes during that time and engaging in discussion with Professor Tilton and your classmates.

Homework:

Submit a few of your favorite cheap eats in Abu Dhabi to this spreadsheet. We will have a lab session on Monday (meets on a Thursday schedule) building some sample maps based on our dataset. You only need to fill out columns A & B.
