Sinful Ordinance is a social politics board game where players compete to be the first player to escape from Hell. For this project we were restrained to developing a game that 1) must be themed around "prison breaks" and "Hell", 2) incorporated character sheets and 3) had both cooperative and competitive elements.
The end result is a game which involves dynamic player politics, multiple alternative win conditions and powerful character-dependent abilities to swing the balance of the game!
For this project I:
Collaborated on the design of both the turn-by-turn gameplay and the board itself
Developed character-specific passives, abilities, and alternate win conditions to make each playable character meaningfully distinct
Pushed the narrative theming of the game through mechanics such as "Morality", and modeling the playable characters after the seven deadly sins
