CBL is a feature of the NYUAD curriculum that enables faculty and their students to connect campus-based studies with on-the-ground academic engagement within the UAE.
All new and significantly revised syllabi must be reviewed prior to being offered. Reach out to the contact below for more information. Courses being taught by a different instructor do not require approval.

Complete the Course Book Order Form. Simply click the ‘Add Book’ button beneath each course and fill in the requested information, then click ‘Submit’. Please complete this form whether or not you require books - this way we can take you off our reminder list!
Important Note: ordering course books through the NYUAD bookstore does not ensure a copy of each title will be made available in the library.

The NYUAD Library offers the following services, which you can request by contacting them through this page.
Place items on reserve for your courses.
Order materials for your courses or personal research.
Teach library information sessions to your students. Topics can include research instruction, database or other special tools instruction, citations and reference instruction, and more.
Create a library resources webpage to support your course.
The Library Liaison Program aims to foster communication and collaboration between librarians and faculty. Librarians work with faculty members to develop strong collections in their respective disciplines, to inform faculty of library resources and services related to their research areas, and teach tailored research sessions upon request.

Request non-book instructional supplies that your students will need to purchase (e.g., paintbrushes, lab coats, flash drives) by emailing the NYUAD Bookstore, nyuad.bookstore@nyu.edu.

Albert is the online student information system, where you can find your course schedule, class roster, enter grades, and retrieve your evaluations.

NYU's learning management system, NYU Brightspace, allows you to create online course websites to support your curricular needs, if you so choose. Learn more about NYU Brightspace, including workshops and training opportunities on the NYU Brightspace website.

Instructions on creating a Brightspace site are available on the NYU IT ServiceLink website.
If you have previous courses on NYU Classes that you would like to reuse or import to Brightspace, read this: Reusing NYU Classes Content in NYU LMS
Contact the Library at least two months in advance if you require assistance with linking or uploading library materials (e.g., journal articles) to your NYU Brightspace course site.

Beginning in Spring 2023, NYU Course Evaluations in Albert will be renamed Course Feedback and moved to a new platform called Blue, which will be accessible here.
