The Travel Research Award will support internal and external conference or training-related travel for three (3) junior investigators, give them the opportunity to present their research and interact with the larger network at annual meetings. The award will cover a maximum of $2,000 in fees such as conference entry, laboratory visits, transportation, and hotel stay. Please note that priority will be given to those who seek to attend the POGEC Annual Meeting and intra-consortium training visits.

To be eligible for the GE Origins Program’s travel awards, you must meet the following criteria:
Be an early-stage investigator or a pre/post-doctoral fellow within a POGEC project

A completed travel agreement form
Summary of training goals, site approval from host lab, training dates, and location

Travel Research Award applicants should refrain from making any travel arrangements until after they are notified of their award status. If awarded, travel arrangements will be made on your behalf.
