Stress Management: Students will identify and practice how to successfully manage stressful times in their life. These skills will be helpful to them now and into the future. Students should be able to understand how to proactively manage stress and identify useful stress management techniques.

Critical Health Issues: This course is an extension of Health Education, coving units in more depth. Issues that are crucial to students' personal lives are examined with an emphasis on the relationship between lifestyle and health. The course enables students to deal more effectively with the health problems faced during their HS experience, and subsequently through out life. These issues may include stress, sexuality, nutrition, mental health and illness, aging, chronic and communicable disease, drug and alcohol use, and other selected topics.

Building 21st Century Leaders: The class is primarily experientially based and emphasizes the importance of communication, character, personal growth, and building strong relationships and teams. Also covered will be listening skills, synergy, perceptions, conflict styles, personality, and group formation. A variety of initiatives will be used to facilitate the learning of skills and, along with various media, reinforce those skills throughout the semester.
