We offer both in person and virtual tech coaching as one of our services to member districts!
Tech Coaching Sessions
Tech coaching sessions can be setup on a monthly or as needed basis. Teachers can work one-on-one with a tech coach to get help with integration of technology into their instruction. If you are needing some individualized help then this free service is available to teachers and other district personnel from districts who are full NWOCA members. We offer both In Person (scheduled) and Virtual (via Zoom) tech coaching. Non-Members we have you covered as well. Your district or school can purchase some support hours. Contact the Professional Learning group for more information.
In Person Tech Coaching
In person tech coaching sessions generally run 30 minutes and are timed to coincide with teachers planning periods. A contact person at your school will arrange with a Northern Buckeye educational technologist for a date or dates when tech coaching days will be held. Teachers sign up for time slots on a shared Google Sheet document.
Contact the Northern Buckeye Professional Learning Group to schedule a tech coaching day.
Virtual tech coaching
Virtual tech coaching allows you to receive one-on-one training and troubleshooting. It allows us to meet online in Zoom, at your convenience. You can share your screen with the trainer so that he or she can see exactly what you are seeing, and help you.
It's super easy to do:
Simply schedule a virtual tech coaching session with one of our trainers at a time that's convenient for you.
Then, you will receive a calendar invitation for that time slot. We normally schedule 30 minute time slots, but can certainly accommodate those with more extensive needs.
You will also receive a link to a Zoom meeting. When it comes time for your meeting, click that link and you will be connected to your training!
