Community Service & Service Project
Students must complete a minimum of 10 individual community service hours. Activities that benefit the school, community, or a charitable organization without compensation are acceptable. Examples include volunteering at a local animal shelter, food bank, or school event.
Activities for which a student is paid or those that benefit immediate family members are not acceptable.
All hours must be documented on this form and submitted by the deadline given at the membership meeting. Please return completed forms to Mrs. Yenser.
The NJHS chapter will organize and participate in at least one large-scale service project throughout the school year. All members are expected to be involved in this effort.
