Apprenticeship Programs
Apprenticeship programs provide pathways to well-paying careers. These programs combine classwork with paid, on-the-job training. Students earn while they learn. A solid foundation in math and English is necessary for high school students. For further information, visit the Occupational Handbook:
Many Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) apprenticeships offer Nevada college credits during training. In many cases, these college credits are paid for by the apprenticeship programs.
