TIER 1
Class Disruption
Definition: Creating or contributing to a moderate disturbance that disrupts the normal operation of the school environment but doesn't pose a threat to the health or safety of others.
Disrespectful Behavior
Definition: Communication or actions that demonstrate a lack of respect or courtesy toward an individual (peer or adult).
Examples include: dishonesty, rudeness, eye rolling, interrupting the teacher or other students, making inappropriate noises, refusing to follow instructions, ignoring instructions, talking back, openly challenging authority, mocking or ridiculing their peers, purposely distracting others, preventing others from participating in class activities, inability to alter behaviors after repeated warnings from teachers or other supervising adults
Insubordination
Definition: Student conduct deemed as repeated unwillingness to submit to authority or refusal to respond to a reasonable request.
