The following are community agencies compiled by WHS Counseling Dept. as possible sources of help. Western High School does not endorse specific community services; however, these can serve as informational purposes for your guidance.
If you are experiencing homelessness, you can visit any Terrible Herbst, RTC bus, City of Las Vegas Fire Station, Las Vegas Clark County Library or Henderson Library to get access to help. Youth up to age 18 can also call 1-866-U-ARE-SAFE and you will be connected to Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY) and the help you need.

Adam’s Place provides a group environment for teens who may not be comfortable with a private counseling experience. Peer support groups for teens are designed to complement a counseling experience while also creating a group for teens in similar age ranges who share similar life changing experiences to be open and honest with their feelings.
