WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO IN HIGH SCHOOL TO QUALIFY?
First you must graduate with a diploma from a Nevada public or private high school**
You must finish high school with an overall 3.25 GPA for all coursework , or receive a qualified score on a college entrance examination***
You must have been a resident of Nevada at least two of your High school years.
Finally, you must have completed the minimum core curriculum requirements:
HIGH SCHOOL COURSES UNITS
English 4
Math (Including Algebra II or higher) 4
Science 3
Social Studies or History 3
BASIC ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Be a U.S. citizen or an eligible noncitizen;
Have a valid Social Security Number
Be enrolled in an eligible program as a regular student seeking a degree or certificate

Non-FAFSA eligible students applying for financial aid for the 2022-2023 academic year will be able to submit the Alternate Need Form
The Nevada Promise Scholarship application will be available Aug. 1, 2023
