Veterans Tribute CTA Counselors
Thank you for visiting VTCTA's Counseling Department Site!
The mission of the VTCTA Counseling Department is to prepare every student academically and socially for any post-secondary option they may choose, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, gender, age, orientation, genetic information, or disability. We recognize that all students enhance the learning environment through individual and shared experiences, as learning is a holistic event that happens both formally and informally, and in a variety of locations. Further, we encourage students to embrace and celebrate their diversity while making a positive impact on their communities.
Your counselors take this mission very seriously and will do everything in their power to ensure you are successful at VTCTA as well as in life after high school.
Please do not hesitate to contact our office if you would like to set up a parent/teacher conference or if you need assistance with your student at 702-799-4710 ext. 4300.

Hello! My name is Mrs. McNaught and I am so happy to be a part of the Sentinel community.
I was born and raised in San Diego and moved to Las Vegas in 2012 to begin my teaching career. I previously worked as a High School English Teacher and Middle School Learning Strategist. I earned my BA in English Literature from the University of San Diego, my M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in English Literature Arts, and an M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in School Counseling.
I love to spend time outdoors, read, cook, and spend time with my family. I became a counselor because I am passionate about helping students pursue their aspirations. I am happy to support you however I can. Please reach out any time!
