Multimedia Communications at Southwest Career & Technical Academy is an all-encompassing program designed to prepare students for a diverse range of careers in the digital media realm. Our curriculum delves into key areas such as social media marketing, web design, videography, podcasting, graphic design, and animation. Students gain hands-on experience in photography, front-end web design, social media content creation, copywriting, product design, video production, and even video podcasting. This comprehensive approach ensures that our graduates are well-equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the rapidly evolving field of multimedia. 

Our classroom at Southwest Tech's Multimedia Communications program is a hub of state-of-the-art resources designed to enhance the learning experience of our students. We boast a well-equipped computer lab featuring dual monitor CAD computers, complete with XP-Pens at each workstation for precision and creativity in digital design. For photography and videography enthusiasts, we offer GoPros and Canon Rebel cameras, ensuring high-quality image and video capture. Podcasting students have access to a Rodecaster mixer, and for those looking into audio projects, we have a dedicated audio booth for crisp and clear sound recording. Additionally, our facility includes medium format printers for high-resolution printouts, perfect for graphic design and photography projects. These resources provide our students with the tools they need to explore, create, and innovate in the multimedia field.
