When you’re done, you’ll learn more about what mindfulness is, how much you currently practice it, and how you can promote more of it in your life.
Do you savor life or let everyday stresses control you? In other words, how mindful are you? Click on the link above from The Greater Good Magazine, to find out how mindful you are. Once you get your results- ask yourself these three questions:

Why Is Mindfulness Needed in Education?
Today’s educators and students carry so much on their shoulders. Meeting academic and social expectations – and simply growing up and developing a sense of self and belonging – can be tough. Yet the pressures in today’s educational environment reach far beyond these basics. Our world is moving and changing faster than ever.
We need a response that addresses the overall health and sustainability of learning environments and supports the well-being of every educator, student, and member of the school community.
Check out Mindfulschools.org article to find out how mindfulness can help with trauma, burnout, stress and more.
Mindful schools also offer classes for educators to learn how to practice mindfulness in personal practice as well in classes. Click here for a list of classes.
