Juniors (that pay to take it): October 15, 2025
11th Grade Families,
11th grade students have the opportunity to take the PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025. The PSAT/NMSQT is an optional test offered to 11th grade students to establish eligibility for the National Merit Scholarship Program. 11th graders must register and pay the testing fee to take the test. The cost of the PSAT/NMSQT is $18.00 and can be paid at the banker by card, cash or check. Registration closes on Friday, September 12th. Testing fees must be paid by September 12th.

The PSAT/NMSQT is administered digitally. All testing students are required to bring their charged Chromebook to their assigned testing room.

PSAT is given in October of each school year to all sophomores at no cost and juniors that want to take it. There is a fee for juniors to take the PSAT.
The Preliminary SAT (PSAT) is mostly a practice version of the SAT®, but it can also lead to more money for college. The PSAT during Junior year , is the NMSQT (National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test), and you will automatically be entered into the National Merit Scholarship Corporation’s (NMSC) scholarship and recognition programs. You will also gain access to a personalized study plan that is based on your PSAT performance.
The PSAT is administered in the fall and is open to Sophomores and Juniors.
