Ariella Maika continues to shine for the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions. The Athletic Department recently named Ella as the Female Sierra Vista Athlete of the Month- August. Some of her accomplishments for the month of August are she was selected to the All-Tournament team for the Las Vegas Invitational,  she is ranked among the leaders in the state in multiple categories, and is on track to exceed 1,000 career kills, a first for any Vista Volleyball player. Ella, a junior is making great strides in her leadership skills, court intelligence, and volleyball power as well as finesse! Congratulations Ella. Well deserved!

Congratulations to our Lions varsity volleyball team for bringing home the bronze bracket trophy for the Las Vegas Invitational! Our lady lions persevered to secure the win. Throughout the 9 matches, our lady lions focused on the fundamentals of the game and consistently had a positive attitude. As the matches progressed they honed in on their skills and improved throughout the weekend. In addition, Ariella Maika was named to the Las Vegas All-Tournament Team. Congratulations on an extremely successful weekend.
