National HOSA website:
Hi everyone! My name is Lainey, and I am so ecstatic to be serving as your President this year! I will be leading you and trying to make our HOSA the best it can be. If you have any suggestions on how to improve accessibility, ideas you would like to see implemented, or just want to chat, please let me know!! For a little background on my HOSA experience, I was chosen to be the Freshman and Sophomore Representative, and last year I was your First Vice President. In this, I have gone to SLC three times and have been immersed in the HOSA experience, volunteering and helping out with club activities for almost 4 years now. HOSA has deepened my love for medicine and allowed me to connect with like-minded people to further my medical career. I have gained so much insight and have had so much fun that I want to continue, and more and more students realize what they can have, too. I am looking forward to this year and am ready to guide and help you whenever needed! This year is going to look very different, but please know I’m in this with you and am doing my best. If you have questions about anything, please reach out. I promise I’m not too scary and love to get to know new people!
Hello! My name is Jake Kirigin, and I am so excited to be your First Vice President as my third and final year in HOSA at NWCTA! Fundraising last year went amazingly, and this year is sure to follow. This will be my third SLC, and this year, I plan to help as many people as possible from our chapter achieve recognition on the stage through our competitions. HOSA has allowed me to meet some of my best friends, and has only encouraged me to continue pushing along my path in the medical field, I could not be more grateful for all I've been able to experience as a part of it. If you have any questions this year, feel free to reach out to any of us, or the class reps, we'd love to help! With that, let's have a great year!
Hello Everyone! I’m Jayden and I will be your 2nd Vice president this year! I am so excited to bring you guys new opportunities and chances to volunteer. My goal is for everyone to get more familiar with one another so that our chapter can really feel like a little community. I am going on my second year for HOSA so I do understand the nervousness you may feel, especially as a first time member. Feel free to chat with me if you have any questions. I’m always there if you need me! I’m learning along with you guys so never hesitate to talk to me or any of the other board members. Get ready to have fun and make new memories while preparing for SLC!
Hi everyone! My name is Ryan and I’m so excited to be your HOSA secretary this year. Some info about me: I am currently a junior here at Northwest and have been a member of HOSA for two years. Being your secretary means that I will be collecting, tracking, and managing your membership points. I also make sure that you’re meeting all the requirements for attending events like SLC. If you have any questions or suggestions about the points please don’t be afraid to reach out! I am so passionate about the medical field and HOSA only fosters that passion. Let’s make it a great year!
Hey everyone, my name is Shiva Patel, and I am so excited to be serving as your Historian this year! I will be running the Instagram account and making advertisements for HOSA and whatever we do. This is my first year on board and second year in HOSA! I went to SLC for the first time last year, and it was amazing! HOSA has brought me so many amazing things, has deepened my love for medicine, and has allowed me to pursue my passion for photography all while making connections to further my medical career. Through my position, I hope to highlight the part of HOSA that many don’t get to see, but we all experience. I am really looking forward to this year, and if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!
