Some of our goals that should be met by the end of the year:

1. I can read and use the weekly high-frequency and phonics words in writing. We are working with 10 words a week from Dr. Fry's High Frequency Word List. We will be going through the first 200.

2. I can read at least 104 words per minute.

3. I can answer questions about what I am reading with a sentence.

4. I can write a narrative, opinion, or informative paper with an opening,  three or more clear details, and a closing.

5. I can skip count by 2's, 5's, and 10's to 120.

6. I know how to add and subtract within 10 quickly.

7. I can add and subtract the numbers through 20 and tell you how I did it.

8. I can tell time to the hour and the half hour on an analog clock.
