ACT Bootcamp
Dear Liberty High School Parents & Students,
The State of Nevada requires all students to take the ACT Exam prior to graduation. This year's statewide test will be given to all 11th graders during the school day on February 24, 2026. For students wanting to prepare for this test, we will once again be partnering with Tutors Across America to provide a discounted ACT Prep Bootcamp on January 30 - February 1, 2026. Students of all ages are welcome to attend.
Schedule for the 3-Day (20-hour) ACT Weekend Bootcamp
Friday, January 30th 4:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Saturday, January 31st 9:00 am - 6:00 pm (lunch break from 1:00-2:00)
Sunday, February 1st 9:00 am - 6:00 pm (lunch break from 1:00-2:00)
The bootcamps are averaging 3 -7 point improvements on the ACT, which can help with college admissions and scholarships.
Regular Cost of Camp: $399
Discounted Cost: $199 for Liberty High School students.

Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Scholars Program
The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Scholars Program offers stipend-paid internship opportunities for upper-level high school students. The selected interns gain valuable hands-on experiences working with full-time AFRL scientists and engineers on cutting-edge research and technology and are able to contribute to unique, research-based projects.

Horatio Alger Association Scholarships for High School Juniors
Be enrolled full time as a high school junior in the United States
Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States immediately after high school graduation (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution)
Demonstrate critical financial need ($65,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required)
Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities
Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity
Maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0
Be a United States citizen
