Texture

This photo displays a variety of textures that comes from the gum wrapper, the concrete floor, and the rock filled trenches. The parallel lines indented in the concrete floors create a sense of harmony as they are all symmetric. The rough edges and creases of the gum wrapper rids it on its original smooth texture. The bright and dark lighting on the gum wrapper allows a variety of creases to be displayed. The clean cut trenches between each slab of concrete; filled with rocks of all color, helps break the mundane gray color throughout the picture. Each rock has its own shape and texture which further expands the variety of texture within the photo. The gum wrapper gives emphasis to the photo as a three-dimensional object is introduced to the originally two-dimensional picture.

The fine granite textures are clearly displayed in this photo. The gray, white, and copper sprinkles of colors are extremely fine and scattered all over the place but is clearly visible in this photo. The bold letters give the object more texture as it adds elevation and helps break the smooth look to the object. Each letter is symmetrically placed and aligned with one another and they all conclude with a squared off look. The cracks and creases are finely cut and provides the object more definition.

This photo contains an array of textures. Displaying a smooth metal plating on top and fine streaks engraved into the flooring. With rocks filling the cracks and rough edges around each tile. Portraying a variety of shapes, the rigid tiles and rocks all help break the flat objects throughout the photo. The earth tone colors of the tile blend well with the rocks and broken down leaves.
