My name is Stacy Shavinksy, I am the Counselor at Hyde Park Middle school. I grew up here in Las Vegas and spent my whole life here. I went to UNLV for my Bachelor's in Education and then on to University of Phoenix for my Master's Degree in Educational Counseling. I have spent almost 21 years working in the educational field, eleven of those years as counselor. I look forward to providing to your children the needed guidance and support to become who they dream of being!

Brenda Gisinger (7th Grade)
My name is Ms. Gisinger, but everyone calls me Ms. G. I am originally from New Jersey, but have been in Vegas for quite some time. I started working in the education world in 1997 as an instructional assistant. Eventually I became a Resource Teacher. It was then I realized that in order for my kids to thrive and learn, their emotional well being needed to be taken care of first.. I loved that part so much that I went back to school, and got my Masters in Counseling. I am so happy to be part of the Hyde Park Community, and look forward to helping in any way I can.
