Attendance Matters
Please be sure to send your child to school each day on time.
When your child is absent from school, please fill out this form within 3 days stating the reason for the absence. It is also located on our school website under Parents>Attendance>Absence Notes.
If you prefer, you can also send an absence note with your student within three days of the absence.

Beginning October 1st, if you arrive after all staff members are inside the school, you will be required to come to the office to pick up your child, show your ID, and sign them out on the computer.

Here are a few programs and services The Library District would like to highlight for educators, children, teens, and caregivers:
The biggest event of the year will happen this month! We are requesting children, teens, and their families to come in costumes to our 3rd annual Trunk or Treat event on October 18 at 4 PM. They will get treats and prizes from community partners’ trunks and tables. Please click here for more information.
On October 15 at 11 a.m., children and their families are invited to dance, stretch, and breathe at Weekend Wiggles. For more information about this program, click here.
For K-5 graders who love Legos, crafts, science, and other fun activities, we invite them to STEAM Team. This program series is every Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Click here for more information.
Artsy Tweens can join the Tween Art Club every first Wednesday at 4:30 PM. For additional information about this club, click here.
October is TeenTober, a celebration of teen services! This year’s theme is international horror and folktales. We invite teens to read spine-chilling books, come to our spooky teen events, and visit the horrifying Teen Zone at the Rainbow Library. For more information about our TeenTober events, click here.
We have a special surprise for you and your students’ caregivers. Using a library card, adults can check out a CoxWifi hotspot card! This card provides FREE internet access. Visit the Rainbow Library today to take advantage of this free service. For additional information, click here.
