Important Updates
No School
Monday, Feb. 19 Presidents Day
Important Info
Breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m. - There is no supervision before this time. Please stay with your child until breakfast doors open for their own safety.
If your child is not having breakfast, please drop off at their assigned gate between 8:40 a.m. - 8:50 a.m.
When your child is absent from school, please fill out this form within 3 days stating the reason for the absence. It is also located on our school website under Parents>Attendance>Absence Notes.
If your child sees the doctor, this matters also! Please upload the note from the visit.
We know illnesses do happen, so please plan all vacations so your child does not miss school!
Attendance contracts were sent home to families who are chronic and/or trending to be chronic in an effort to communicate the number of absences in hopes to prevent students missing 18 school days (10% of their school year). Please know we understand when children get sick. Please use the guide on the right to assist you!
If you are late picking your child up, please bring a copy of your photo ID into the office. We have a new system starting soon where you will need to scan your ID.
The city approved our Marquee which will be installed on our building soon! Electricians were starting their work last week!
ATTENDANCE MATTERS, but when should my child stay home?
If any of these symptoms are present, your child should be kept home:
Fever 100 degrees or greater
Unexplained rash
Red or sore throat
Excessive coughing
Severe toothache
Unexplained vomiting and/or diarrhea
Persistent headache
Earache
Wheezing
Untreated head lice
If the symptoms continue longer than 24 hours, you may need to take your child to a LHCP. Your child must be fever-free for 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing medications (i.e. Tylenol, Advil), before returning to school.
Contagious Illnesses:
According to the Southern Nevada Health District, students with known or suspected contagious illnesses cannot come to school. The school nurse will provide guidance on when your child can return to school.

Due to student allergies, please make sure your items are NUT FREE!
