The CTE (Career & Technical Education) College Credit Program awards free college credit for high school classes. Eligiblle high school classes are a part of a CTE high school program which is generally three years of high school classes (Level 1-3). By participating in CTE course at Durango HS, students have the opportunity to explore career interests, in high school while also earning college credit.

Agriculture Science
Culinary Arts
Cybersecurity
Forensic Science
Graphic Design
Military Science (Space Force)
Marketing
Theatre Tech
Video Production
To qualify for the CTE College Credit, students must:
1. Earn a 3.0 grade point average in their CTE course sequence;
2. Pass the state end-of-program technical content assessment;
3. Pass the state Workplace Readiness assessment for employability skills.
Students who complete a CTE program of study according to the criteria are eligible to earn the CTE College Credit
within three years of graduating from high school and upon admission to the postsecondary institution.
