Early Student Out Policy

STUDENTS & PARENTS PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

A student who is 18 may sign themselves out when the following rule(s) apply:

  • Requires a valid photo ID (if no ID, a photo of the student shown on Infinite Campus will suffice), however if none of these apply then the student cannot sign themselves out

  • A parent must be called: 1) this is a common courtesy to let them know, and 2) their permission is not needed

A student who is 17 and under may not sign themselves out:

  • If the student says that their parent is aware and asks us to talk to them over the phone, this will not be permitted as their parent/emergency contact must physically come to sign them out, while providing a valid photo ID

At no time can a person call over the phone, or write a letter, to ask that their student be signed out or sent home early:

  • A person must physically come to the school and provide a valid photo ID, and be on the contact list

At no time can a person call in to add an emergency contact, this must be done on the Family Census Form that will need to be submitted in person through the Registrar's Office with a valid photo ID.
