What is a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)?

The Material Safety Data Sheet, abbreviated as MSDS, is a document containing information about potential hazards in the workplace. These hazards can range anywhere from health hazards, fire safety, etc. These purpose of an MSDS is to inform employees at a certain workplace concerning what to be careful about, how to stay safe at the workplace, and how to use certain products that could potentially be harmful.
