The mission of the comprehensive school counseling program at Cowan Academic Center is to promote holistic student-centered practices, through the use of social-emotional learning, restorative behavioral interventions, and academic planning.

Vision

The vision of the comprehensive school counseling program at Cowan Academic Center is for students to be engaged in their education by graduating high school, considering post-secondary options, and/or pursuing a career, while using learned self-regulation and self-advocacy skills to both problem solve and cope independently, in healthy ways.
