Principal's Message

The goal of Cowan Academic Center is to help students learn how to successfully address life's challenges through perseverance, dedication, and commitment to personal excellence. Students at Cowan Academic are expected to learn how to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner according to societal norms, regardless of their strong personal beliefs. We have a genuine belief that all students can learn how to be successful regardless of their background. This is accomplished through the dedicated work of a team of professionals committed to helping young people become the best they can be. This may not be easy for some. We have high expectations that will not be compromised. All students are expected to demonstrate the highest standards of behavior, academic achievement, and attendance. Grades must be earned at Cowan. We look forward to working with families to ensure a positive transition from and to the comprehensive school environment. Together, we can help our students create a better future for themselves.
