Hello, my name is Ms. Alisha Askin. I am one of the social workers at Clark. I will be working with the seniors this year and students who need a little extra TLC. I have an extensive background in mental health, and I have been working with kids and teens for over 5 years. 

My passion in social work started as a young child, when all the neighborhood kids used to come over to my house to tell me all of their problems. I even set up my own therapy couch for my friends. That turned into my passion for helping others! I am excited to continue my journey at Clark to best serve the needs of the students, staff, and families. 

A little bit about me: As a social worker, I am a huge advocate for self-care. My favorite being that I like to travel and experience new cultures and explore new areas. I even like to journal about all of my adventures. I love sports - football, volleyball, and basketball. I'm newly vegan, so I've been having fun learning new, healthier recipes - I love to cook! I really still am a huge Disney fan!
